In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Jenkins Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Jackson City Tigers.
The Cavaliers (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record.
The Tigers now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menifee County for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Jackson City will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.
