South Carolina High School Volleyball - James Island tips Summerville

October 2, 2025: Charleston, SC 29412

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC), observed James Island's volleyball team hold off Summerville by a count of 3-2.

The Trojans (23-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots enter the AAAAA Region 8 contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Fort Dorchester was tipped by West Ashley (Charleston, SC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Green Wave battle the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 8 battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Summerville will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Swamp Foxes go into the battle with a 7-15 record after their 3-0 league win over Stall (Charleston, SC).
