Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Knights come into the SCISA AA Region IV challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Oakbrook Prep beat Community Christian Academy (Martinez, GA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Knights face the Community Christian Academy Ambassadors (Martinez, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 7. King Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Ambassadors go into the game with a 14-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC).
