In Thursday's league test, the host Le Sueur-Henderson Giants volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Maple River Eagles.

With the win, Le Sueur-Henderson improves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Giants travel to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN) to meet the Komets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Komets come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Kasson-Mantorville won 3-0 in their recent league test against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN)

The Eagles now sport a 7-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a non-league test on Monday, October 6.
