In Thursday's league match, the Lee Central Stallions (Bishopville, SC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Riverwalk Academy Lions (Rock Hill, SC), by a margin of 3-1.

The Stallions now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Great Falls for a A Region 3 bout on Thursday, October 9.

With the loss, Riverwalk Academy drops to 1-13 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Midlands STEM Charter (Winnsboro, SC) to clash with the Mavericks in a A Region 3 bout on Thursday, October 9. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 0-11. Midlands STEM Charter lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against C.A. Johnson (Columbia, SC)
