Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Model improves its record to 17-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Harlan (Harlan, KY) to face the Green Dragons in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Green Dragons go into the test with a record of 6-19. Harlan lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)

Next, the Bobcats meet the Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pineville (Pineville, KY).
