The Pierce County Bears volleyball squad (Blackshear, GA), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA)

With the win, Lowndes improves its record to 26-11 on the season. The Vikings travel to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA) to face the Terrors in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Terrors go into the test with a record of 23-11. Glynn Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA)

Next, the Bears meet the Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Pierce County will attempt to upgrade on its 16-20 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 29-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA).
