In Thursday's league challenge, the host Magnolia Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Waldron Bulldogs.

The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against El Dorado (El Dorado, AR). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last test, El Dorado went down by Benton (Benton, AR), 3-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cossatot River for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Waldron will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ashdown (Ashdown, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
