New Mexico High School Volleyball - Melrose over Texico

The Melrose Buffaloes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Texico Wolverines to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Arthur for a 1A District 4 game on Tuesday, October 7. Melrose will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Elida (Elida, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.

The Wolverines (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Tatum (Tatum, NM). The Coyotes go into the 2A District 4 game with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Tatum defeated Kermit (Kermit, TX), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
