The Walden Grove Red Wolves volleyball squad (Sahuarita, AZ), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ)

With the win, Mica Mountain improves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to meet the Nighthawks in a 4A - Kino challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a record of 14-15. Ironwood Ridge lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA)

Next, the Red Wolves meet the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A - Kino test, on Tuesday, October 14. Walden Grove will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
