Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) and the visiting Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA), observed Miramonte's volleyball team top Ygnacio Valley by a count of 3-0.

The Matadors (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA). The Red Devils go into the Diablo-Valley battle with a 1-12 record.

The Wolves now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a Diablo-Valley battle on Tuesday, October 14. Ygnacio Valley will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bears record now stands at 2-10.
