Ohio High School Volleyball - Zanesville bounced by Mt. Vernon

Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH). The Hornets enter the Licking County challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Licking Heights was beaten by Licking Valley (Newark, OH), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Maysville Panthers (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 6. Zanesville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record.
