Ohio High School Volleyball - Newark Catholic over Utica

The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) and the host Utica Redskins (Utica, OH), saw Newark Catholic's volleyball squad achieve victory over Utica by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Newark Catholic improves its record to 18-0 on the season. The Green Wave host Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH) to encounter the Johnnies in a Licking County test on Tuesday, October 7. The Johnnies go into the test with a record of 13-6.

The Redskins now own a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heath for a Licking County test on Tuesday, October 7. Utica will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to River View (Warsaw, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.
