South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Laurel improves its record to 11-16 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to meet the Generals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Jackson County lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Clay County (Manchester, KY)

Next, the Jaguars meet the Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) in a District 49 test, on Monday, October 6. North Laurel will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 11-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY).
