Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Philomath upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Newport (Newport, OR) to play the Cubs in a 4A Oregon West challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Newport won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Taft (Lincoln City, OR)

The Huskies (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Stayton (Stayton, OR). The Eagles go into the 4A Oregon West game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Stayton went down by Crane (Crane, OR), 2-1, in a non-league game.
