Nebraska High School Volleyball - South Sioux City over Omaha South

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE) and the host Omaha South Packers (Omaha, NE), observed South Sioux City's volleyball team top Omaha South by a count of 3-0.

The Cardinals (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Ponca was defeated by Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Packers now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benson for a A District test on Monday, October 6. Omaha South will face a Bunnies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bunnies record now stands at 7-19.
