In Thursday's league challenge, the host Paraclete Spirits volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Genevieve Valiants.

The Spirits (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA). The Pacers come into the Camino Real outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Pomona Catholic beat Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, St. Genevieve drops to 1-13 on the campaign. The Valiants travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Camino Real outing on Monday, October 6. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 17-9. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against La Salle (Pasadena, CA)
