In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Paragould Rams volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Searcy Lions.
The Rams (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, AR). The Patriots come into the 5A East challenge with a 18-2 record. In their last challenge, Marion beat Batesville (Batesville, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions play the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) in a 5A East game, on Tuesday, October 7. Searcy will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a 9-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR).
