The River Valley Panthers volleyball squad (Blairsville, PA), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA)

The Wolves (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Stingers enter the Heritage contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Marion Center was beaten by Purchase Line (Commodore, PA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 6. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA).
