The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets topped the host Rockbridge County Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Green Hornets face the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah game, on Tuesday, October 7. Wilson Memorial will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Storm go into the game with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights come into the non-league outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Turner Ashby beat Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
