Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY) and the visiting Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY), observed Warren Central's volleyball team top Russellville by a count of 2-0.

The Dragons (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 8-22 record. In their last battle, Franklin-Simpson achieved victory over Russellville (Russellville, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barren County for a non-league battle on Monday, October 13. Russellville will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 16-12.
