In Thursday's league challenge, the host Trinity Academy Tigers volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion.
Next up, the Tigers face the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA 3A Capital City game, on Tuesday, October 7. Trinity Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 21-7 record after their 3-0 league win over St. David's (Raleigh, NC).
The Lion (3-15) will now prepare for their outing against Carolina Friends (Durham, NC). The Quakers come into the non-league outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Carolina Friends lost by Discovery Charter School (Bahama, NC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
