The Widefield Gladiators held off the host Palmer Terrors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Gladiators now have a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mesa Ridge for a test on Tuesday, October 25. Widefield will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Canon City (Canon City, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-3.
The Terrors (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Canon City (Canon City, CO). The Tigers enter the test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Canon City held off Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0, in a league test.
