The Fleming Colonels football team (Roanoke, VA), was tipped 14-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA)
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Lord Botetourt nipped Northside (Roanoke, VA), 68-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Colonels now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 27.
