The Albemarle Patriots topped the visiting Goochland Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league test on Monday, October 24. Albemarle will confront a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 6-9.

The Bulldogs (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Louisa County gained a win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
