In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Cox Mill Chargers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Lake Norman Wildcats.
The Chargers (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls come into the Greater Metro 4A battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Hickory Ridge was nudged by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings come into the Greater Metro 4A battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, South Iredell was nudged by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 4-2, in a league battle.
