Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) and the host Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA), witnessed Hillgrove's softball squad tip Colquitt County by a count of 6-2.

The Hawks now sport a 11-15 record.

With the loss, Colquitt County moves to 23-4 on the season. The Packers travel to Grayson (Loganville, GA) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Friday, October 21. The Rams go into the match with a record of 19-12. Grayson lost 7-2 in their recent non-league match against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA)
