The Edison Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Annandale Atoms to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers enter the National challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Lewis went down by Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Atoms encounter the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) in a National challenge, on Monday, October 24. Annandale will attempt to move on its 1-15 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Falls Church (Falls Church, VA).
