In Thursday's league contest, the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) volleyball squad were winner over the host Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Wolverines face the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley contest, on Friday, October 21. Oxford will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Seymour (Seymour, CT).
