The James River Knights volleyball team (Buchanan, VA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA)
The Cavaliers (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers enter the Three Rivers challenge with a 0-19 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany went down by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights encounter the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, October 25. James River will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Floyd County (Floyd, VA).
