Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), 3-0 in a league game.
The Red Devils now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wagon Mound for a 1A District 5 game on Saturday, October 22. Springer will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 2-9.
The Rams (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons enter the 1A District 5 game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Des Moines was dropped by Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM), 3-1, in a league game.
