The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) and the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), saw Cobre's volleyball squad beat Socorro by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Cobre upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Indians travel to Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM) to confront the Tigers in a 3A District 3 test on Tuesday, October 25. The Tigers enter the test with a record of 17-1. Hot Springs won 3-0 in their recent league test against Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM)
The Warriors (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Bears enter the 3A District 3 test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Hatch Valley was knocked off by Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
