Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Cranston East edged by Coventry

The Coventry Oakers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cranston East Thunderbolts to 2 in the Oakers league victory on Thursday.

The Oakers now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cranston West for a State Championship Division - B game on Monday, October 24. Coventry will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 0-13.

The Thunderbolts (3-11) will now prepare for their game against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, South Kingstown held off West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 3-1, in a league game.
