In Thursday's league battle, the host Gretna Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Nelson County Governors.
The Hawks (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders come into the Dogwood battle with a 18-0 record. In their last battle, Appomattox County defeated Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 3-0, in a league match.
With the loss, Nelson County drops to 3-13 on the campaign. The Governors host William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to clash with the Generals in a Dogwood match on Tuesday, October 25. The Generals come into the match with a record of 0-14. William Campbell lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
