The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) and the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), saw Grosse Pointe North's volleyball squad beat Grosse Pointe South by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Grosse Pointe North upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year.
The Blue Devils now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Lyon East for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 25. Grosse Pointe South will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 24-6.
