The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) and the host Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), saw McQueen's volleyball squad nip Reed by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, McQueen upgrades its record to 5-13 on the year. The Lancers host Carson (Carson City, NV) to play the Senators in a 5A North bout on Wednesday, October 26. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 17-9. Carson won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Reed (Sparks, NV)

The Raiders now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a 5A North bout on Tuesday, October 25. Reed will play a Miners squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Miners record now stands at 19-9.
