The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) and the host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY), saw Shaker's volleyball squad beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Shaker upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Bison travel to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY) to play the Eagles in a Suburban Council bout on Saturday, October 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-0.

The Spartans now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Guilderland for a Suburban Council bout on Wednesday, October 25.
