In Friday's league match, the visiting Apollo Eagles football squad scored a good 30-13 victory over the Marshall County Marshals.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 27. Apollo will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 14-6 league win over McCracken County (Paducah, KY).
The Marshals (2-8) will now prepare for their match against McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, McLean County ran past Trigg County (Cadiz, KY), 44-14, in a league match.
