Colorado High School Football - Rye routed by Banning Lewis Academy

The Rye Thunderbolts football team (Rye, CO), was ripped 40-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Banning Lewis Academy Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Stallions (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellicott (Calhan, CO). The Thunderhawks come into the 1A Tri Peaks challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Ellicott was ripped by Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO), 48-12, in a league challenge.

The Thunderbolts now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Ford for a 1A Tri Peaks challenge on Thursday, October 26. Rye will meet a Meloneers team coming off a 45-7 league loss to Peyton (Peyton, CO). The Meloneers record now stands at 0-8.
