Pennsylvania High School Football - Mercer felled by Cambridge Springs

The Mercer Mustangs football team (Mercer, PA), was beaten 22-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA)

The Devils (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Union City (Union City, PA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Union City was beaten by Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 48-3, in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cochranton for a District 10 Region 1 challenge on Friday, November 3. Mercer will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 14-13 league win over Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-3.
