The Cecilia Bulldogs football squad scored 25 points and limited the visiting Opelousas Tigers to 22 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Livonia for a 4A District 5 battle on Friday, October 27. Cecilia will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 45-28 non-league loss to Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Breaux Bridge Tigers (Breaux Bridge, LA) in a 4A District 5 battle, on Thursday, October 26. Opelousas will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 35-0 league win over Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA).
