The Spearman Lynx football team (Spearman, TX), was tipped 28-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX)

The Bobcats (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats come into the 3A-2 Region I District 3 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Dimmitt nipped Tulia (Tulia, TX), 43-27, in a league challenge.

The Lynx now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Friona for a 3A-2 Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, October 27. Spearman will meet a Chieftans team coming off a 56-7 league loss to Canadian (Canadian, TX). The Chieftans record now stands at 4-4.
