The Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) football edged the visiting Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA), 7-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Lions face the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA) in a Central bout, on Saturday, October 28. Penncrest will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Fightin' Tigers enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 26-21 league loss to Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA).
The Pioneers (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Aces enter the Central bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Lower Merion nudged Harriton (Rosemont, PA), 63-20, in a league bout.
