The Ripley Tigers football team (Ripley, TN), was ripped 36-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Covington Chargers (Covington, TN)

The Chargers (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Westview (Martin, TN). The Chargers come into the 3A Region 7 challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Westview trounced McNairy Central (Selmer, TN), 51-0, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dyersburg for a 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, October 26. Ripley will meet a Trojans team coming off a 51-0 league win over Liberty Tech Magnet (Jackson, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-0.
