Rhode Island High School Football - Ponaganset topples Mt. Hope

October 20, 2023: North Scituate, RI 02857

The Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) football defeated the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 19-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a Division III-B bout, on Friday, October 27. Ponaganset will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 46-7 league win over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI).

The Huskies (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards enter the Division III-B bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, West Warwick defeated Johnston (Johnston, RI), 33-30, in a league bout.
