The Berry Cardinal football team (Charlotte, NC), was ripped 59-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC)

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres come into the 4A South Meck challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, South Mecklenburg was ripped by Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 49-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinal now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympic for a 4A South Meck challenge on Friday, October 27. Berry will meet a Trojans team coming off a 34-14 league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-7.
