Rhode Island High School Soccer - Chariho held off by Mt. Hope

The crowd at Friday's league test between the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) and the visiting Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), saw Mt. Hope's soccer squad get by Chariho by a margin of 2-1.
The Huskies now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Kingstown for a Division 1 - B test on Monday, October 23. Mt. Hope will meet a Skippers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Chariho drops to 11-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Barrington (Barrington, RI) to meet the Eagles in a Division 1 - B test on Monday, October 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-9. Barrington lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)
