The crowd at Friday's league bout between the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) and the host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA), saw St. John's's volleyball squad nip Saint John Paul the Great Catholic by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, St. John's upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Cadets host Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to play the Cardinals in a bout on Tuesday, October 24. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

The Wolves now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Oakcrest for a bout on Friday, October 27.
