The New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX), 3-1 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, New Boston upgrades its record to 22-12 on the year. The Lions travel to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX) to play the Bears in a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, October 24. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 6-23. De Kalb lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Queen City (Queen City, TX)

The Rabbits now own a 20-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hooks for a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, October 24. Atlanta will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 28-9.
