The Fruitvale Bobcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Boles Hornets to 1 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats now possess a 6-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alba-Golden for a 2A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, October 24. Fruitvale will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-16.

The Hornets (2-18) will now prepare for their game against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans enter the 2A Region II District 12 game with a 5-27 record. In their last game, Cumby was dropped by Como-Pickton (Como, TX), 3-2, in a league game.
